Hello again.
I know you're all sick of hearing about this thing, but just wanted to
clear up a few things and let you know that the FINAL version of the
AutoImageGrabber is available for download from my AMOS-page.
Giark will be replacing the old version on the CBATNAM-page as soon
as possible. As you know, he's been having some trouble with his
webpace-provider.
I'd like to thank Aaron (beagley@crystal.com.au) for also providing
feedback. Thanks, I do appreciate it.
Now, the main point of this utility is the auto-grabbing/auto-centering,
so while you can append Bob or Icon Abk-files, you MUST have the
IFF loaded first in order for it work.
Really, all you need it to load an IFF with just one image. As long as
it's the correct depth, you will be able to clear the bank and Append
multiple Bob or Icon Files. Just remember the Appended images
are converted to the current work-screen's depth, which is 64-color
EHB mode at by default. Simply load a new IFF in the proper
depth and all you can use the AIG to "meld" several ABK-files
together.
Well, this should be the end of it...
I'm still interesting in hearing from you all about this new version :-)
Mush, the new archive now contains a complete doc-file and very
simple tutorial illustrating the use of the Set Pixel Tolerance option.
So, you are more than welcome to download the archive and add it to
your library.
Take care,
GARFIELD
